Role: Automation Engineer (QA)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal – Hybrid (2x per week on-site)

Requirements:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
• Collaborate with Product Owners and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage through clear and structured test case creation
• Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks
• Act as a bridge between QA and development teams to ensure alignment on quality goals
• 3+ years of experience in test automation

• Strong proficiency in Playwright and Selenium

• Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle, including test design and execution

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluency in Portuguese (native)

• English level B2
